Botryosphaeria dothidea was isolated from the canker and pathogenisity of the isolate was confirmed by artificial inoculation to the pomegranate twig, which showed the same symptom with naturally infected twig. This is the first report of a natural infection of pomegranate tree by Botryosphaeria dothidea in Korea.
