b The formulations of the fungicides used in this experiment were wettable powder (WP), soluble concentrate (SC), and wettable granule (WG).
c In this experiment, agar dilution method and resazurin-based respiration measurement method were used to evaluate the fungicides, and the concentrations of fungicides treated were shown. In the agar dilution method, the potato dextrose agar as solid medium was poured into a Petri dish, and the fungicide was added at indicated concentration to test the efficacy inhibiting the mycelial growth of Colletotrichum acutatum s. lat. causing pepper anthracnose. In the resazurin-based respiration measurement method, a small amount of liquid medium inoculated with conidia of C. acutatum s. lat. was poured into a microtiter plate, and the fungicide was treated at the concentrations shown. The pathogens were cultured for 24 hr and treated with PrestoBlue reagent to examine the relative fluorescence units.
